Meet Our Staff

ELIZABETH BROWNING, one of New York’s most respected acting coaches, is featured in The Actor’s Guide To Qualified Acting Coaches: New York by Larry Silverberg and has been teaching acting in New York City for 22 years. Formerly on the faculty at New York University/Circle in the Square and Director of The Studio of The Actors Space, Ms. Browning has appeared on ABC World News Now and NBC Today in New York: Weekend Edition to introduce her revolutionary approach to acting. She is also the creator of the video Acting Techniques for Life. She coaches actors on Broadway, in film and television, and has assisted in the creation of original award winning plays for New York stages. Her vision is to help transform the entertainment industry through film, television, and theater that will bring more light, truth, and love into the world.

 

Rhonda S. Musak has appeared in numerous New York City productions including the title role in Ondine ˆ developed in-part at the Elizabeth Browning Studio and produced by her production company Deep Water Productions, as well as Helena in Fools and Lovers ˆ which she produced as a member of the critically acclaimed theatre company Moonwork. Her work has also appeared regionally at the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre and Theatre X. Rhonda is also an Erickson-trained, solution-focused life coach. As a life coach, she assists artists of all kinds in taking risks and bringing more balance into their lives so that they can continue to create for a lifetime. As an acting coach, she coaches professional actors in theatre, film and television and has taught in NYC, Connecticut and Wisconsin. Ms. Musak is a graduate of the National Shakespeare Conservatory.

   

DAVID PIXLEY studied acting at NYU/Circle in the Square where he received his BFA. Subsequent study included Stella Adler and Elizabeth Browning. Recent productions include Windows on the World at the 2003 NYC International Fringe Festival, The Man Who Shot His Washing Machine (dir. Tom O'Horgan, Theatre for a New City), and Unrehearsed Truths (Joy Light prod., The Public Theatre) and the Deep Water Production of Ondine at walkerspace in Tribeca, for which he also produced. He is an actor with Axial Theatre, productions include Not Anonymous and The Contract, and currently serves as producer and actor with the prestigious NYC company Moonwork. He is on the faculty at the Elizabeth Browning Studio.

   
April Feld Sandor

APRIL FELD SANDOR specializes in classical acting techniques for modern actors. She has extensive training, performance and teachng experience in the United States and England. She has worked with Bread & Puppet Theatre, Two Penny Circus, The Wilma Theatre, Princeton Rep, American Jewish Theatre, Rhode Island Feminist Theatre, Original Shakespeare Company, Circle in the Square, The Actors Space, MOMI, and the Royal National Theatre Studio, among others, and is the founder of Simply Shakespeare. Currently, she is coaching and directing in New York and Philadelphia.

   

ANNE MARIE ROSE graduated from Northeastern University in Boston with a degree in Theatre Arts. She studied improvisational comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, performs weekly with an improv comedy troupe in NYC, and has received rave reviews in Saturday Night Rewritten. She has performed in numerous stage productions in both New York and regionally, and is much loved by the many children she has taught through the years in New York City schools.
